The Crestwood Motel was built in 1960. The Eagles even stayed here in the 1970's, since Don Henley's home town of Linden Texas is only 25 miles away.

However, eleven years ago, my family purchased and renovated the Crestwood Motel, and the cabins and house across the street called the Crestwood Lodge. Then they combined the properties under one name, The Lake O' the Pines Lodge. 

My business partner and I bought the motel side of the business from my family on February 20th, 2016 and we have decided to change the motel's name to A Motel Among the Pines.

I am Trinett Elizabeth Polley. I have been the manager for the Lodge since 2011. I have degrees in phlebotomy (drawing blood), interpreting (sign language), and am 2 classes away from a bachelors in Business Management. I served 5 years in the U.S. Army, and got a honorable discharge at the rank of Sergeant (E-5). I am sooo excited to prove that I can run the business in a way that shows how happy we are to have you here and to get the chance to get to know you.

My business partner, best friend, soul twin and future husband is William David Callahan II. Call him David! We have known each other since junior high in 1992. He has built this website, although I obviously did the bios. He builds web pages (such as this one!) and solves computer problems for others as a business. He is also a professional photographer and took all the pictures for this website. He was the producer and on-air personality for a show called Celtic Traditions on KOCV-FM Odessa/Midland for 4 years, and had a similar show for a year after that on KLBO-AM Monahans.  He worked as the Technology Officer for West Texas State Bank for 10 years in Monahans Texas. He says he is "happy to finally be returning to the forests of East Texas after being in the desert for so long," and that "The next best thing to traveling is staying put and getting to meet all the travelers that come here!"
